Maxwell Dexter began making music in 2012. Since then he has released two EPs, Self (2015) and Interval (2016), and a debut album, Computer Human in early 2018.
Maxwell Dexter describes his sound as ‘eclectic electronica’. Maxwell Dexter’s portfolio has been inspired by artists such as Nu:Tone, deadmau5, Nujabes, Herbie Hancock and Bill Withers.
Maxwell Dexter’s music encapsulates various elements of House, Drum & Bass, Hip Hop, Glitch Hop and SynthWave with injections of Jazz, Funk and Experimentalism.
Maxwell Dexter has supported Dub FX at The NightCat in Fitzroy, Melbourne and has had his music recently featured on Kiss FM, 3SSR and Radio Carrum.
He is excitedly anticipating the release of Computer Human and has begun work on an upcoming Space-Funk project.
